Yaounde was a culture shock after being in Dschang and Ngaoundere. Dance classes- I'm so glad we didn't have to perform! That other group of students we met who spent their whole trip in Yaounde were such pussys.
Cameroun is supposedly bilingual but sometimes things ge tlost in translation. The frecnch SIDA billboards had the correct AIDS prevention slogan. The english translation however read:
The nation needs more
AIDS
Free men and women.
Unbelieveable faux pas. Totally sends the wrong message.
