Review of Canaan International Hotel

A big comfortable room, but very little English spoken if you aren't a Chinese speaker.  Friendly staff who tried hard to please, though. About 15 minutes walk to the town centre so a little inconvenient.  We booked through sinohotel.com and got a very reasonable rate.  However the youth hostel opposite the bell tower is probably a better bet for convenience and information.  Breakfast was included in the rate but did not entice us very much.
