I woke up in the morning energized and full of energy to hike up the 800+/- steps to see the views over London from St Pauls. The church is magnificent and the amazing views were well worth it. After St Pauls I was off to find the train to Windsor.

As you arrive in Windsor you have some amazing views of the castle and town. You also realize just how big it all is as well. Stepping of the train you walk through a few shops and almost run straight into the huge Windsor Castle. The day was dreary and rainy and the Queen was at Windsor Castle so the royal apartments were closed to the public. The tour was still worth the money and putting up with the wind and rain. What a beautiful place! After my tour I walked around the town of Windsor, which is full of little old shops and had lunch at a cafe there. Then it was back to London.

Since Southwark Cathedral was on my way back home I decided to stop and have a look. Its a beautiful cathedral and I was quite moved by the organ practice that was going on while I was there. The site that the cathedral sits on has been a holy site since 606, when it started as a convent.
