erghh! 17 hours on a full and very hot bus is not nice! For the 1st three hours i was lulled into a false sense of luxury as the bus was empty, haa, that didn't last. It was horrible but had to be done. Arrived in Airlie beach (gateway to the islands) on Friday Morning to find that mum and dad were there as well. Spent the afternoon and evening with them which was great! They went out on a tall ship trip on Saturday and I went out on a maxi-yacht 3-day adventure on Sunday. The boat was called Anaconda II and there were 14 of us on board plus 3 crew members. Met 2 other English girls who quickly became my partners in drinking! We spent 3 days and 2 nights sailing around the 74 Islands (don't think we saw all of them!), we saw Whitehaven beach at 7am with no one else on it, snorkeled through some fantastic coral and shoals of the most colorful fish. The evenings were spent on the boat watching the stars and getting through the boxes of goon (bad aussie wine in boxes!). All in all a fantastic trip!

Thought you could submit the frisbee pic as 'spot the frisbee' and is topless sunbathing on boats allowed in Aus! Love uncle D
