We have been here for almost three weeks and have loved every minute of it. As our friend Chris told us "It`s Magic`. It looks like it is right out of a postcard.

We arrived november 6th in Christcurch where we spent a week. Our first task was to buy a car. Sparky we bought him from a nice German couple. We thought it might be bad luck to change his name. We also rented mountain bikes for a month and have been biking a lot.  We continued from here to Akroa where we spent 4 nights in a backpackers which was located on a working sheep farm. Just like Carcant... the farm in Scotland. Matt went for a really look bike ride and we went walking. Green Mountains right on the ocean. We would sit on the deck and look at the hills and water.

Our next stop took us to Hamner Springs which was only to mountain bike... what fun... their are also hot springs but we did`t as we did those in Germany.

We continued to Arthurs Pass where we through wood for beds our first work since April but not too bad. Matt also spent the day working on a german soap opera.

We got to Wanaka a week ago and started again working for accommodation at the Purple Cow. www.purplecow.co.nz . Worth checking out as I can`t get a picture that good.
