This will be a very brief journal entry just because really.

Day 1: Had a long drive across from Napier via Tapuo.  Incredibly beautiful and so Nic and I took it at a leisurely pace.  Arrived and stayed in the 'Train' Motel.  Will put the phot's on when I get a chance.  It really was a train carriage that we stayed in.  It didn't go anywhere but it made our stay fun.

Day 2: Booked on the spell bound tour to see the glow worms.  Smaller group but neither of us thought that that would mean a smaller cave.  Not as relaxing as promised.  Both Nic and I felt the pressure of the cave roof bearing down on us and being in the dark made it even more difficult.  The glow worms were pretty, or at least the light made from their poo and the air reacting together was pretty but we were glad to come out into the open.  Second cave was much better and we learned a bit about cave formation and saw fossilized Moa bones.  Ohhhhh!  Finished the tour with the minibus getting a flat tyre.  Luckily Nic and I weren't the only ones who knew how to change a tyre so we didn't get muddy. Arrived back and had lunch then drove over to Hamilton and just booked into a motel for the night.  Left next morning for Auckland and after a last look around headed to Bill and Jude's and a warm welcome from them.  Stayed the night and then headed to the airport.  All a bit sad and leaving NZ has turned out to be a bit of a wrench for both of us.  We'll be back don't you worry.

Hi Girls, What's been happening? I'm patiently awaiting your next installment... honestly, anyone would think that you're on holiday. Hope you're both very well and making the most of your time away from all the madness of reality! Natasha xx
