Drive South to Wiatomo Caves

Another beautiful drive, always taking us longer than expected.  It was supposed to be about a 4.5hr drive, but took us more like 5.5 with some short stops.  Lush green hills and coastal areas.  The roads are excellent, and very easy driving on the oposite side of the road here.  Drove back though Auckland on the way.  Turning into farming areas further south, but still very hilly.  Sheep and cows.  Except for Auckland and some of the beach areas, most places are very rural.  Auckland is by far the largest city in NZ.  Finally found a hotel with internet access near Wiatomo after calling 5 diff places.  Spent a couple more hrs wrapping up another round of communication with Tahiti (the fax never got through yesterday).  Getting ready for our Black Water Rafting through some underground rivers/caves with glow worms tomorrow.
