Day 2 - Waikiki Beach

12.27 - Have just checked into my Youth Hostel but i haven't made any friends yet. Plenty of time left still! I am just taking a walk along Waikiki beach at the moment although i have just stopped to get some lunch. I didn't get any breakfast at the hotel for some reason, i don't know what happened and i couldn't understand what the lady was on about! At least i got myself a good sleep and was up at 06.30, a first for me! The weather is great at the moment. Sun, sea and sand. This morning i asked for a taxi to the Youth Hostel and a limo turns up to take me round the corner! That's what i call service. 14.37 - Had some dinner although it wasn't that great. The beach is fantastic and there are plenty of shops although they all seem to be called ABC! the hostel is good, basic but i has everything i need. I need to buy some shorts and a towel so i can get myself onto the beach. 18.43 - Where are all the restaurants? I have looked almost everywhere but i can't find any. I will have to ask the man in reception. Look like i might have to buy food to cook, something i'm not looking forward to! I have bought postcards which i write sometime this week. The video diary is going well. I can't wait to get back and watch it, it should be quite funny. Boy it's hot, i am pissing like a fountain because of all the fluids i'm drinking!
