We get to our resort nestled into the snow-capped mountains of the Alps prepared to relax for two days with activities and the spa. Our room is really nice, especially the huge bathroom, and the hotel amenities are more than we could have thought to ask for. The next two days were going to make the rest of the trip a breeze.
We had nothing to do this evening other than dinner at the hotel in which we could enjoy the buffet for only ten euro. Well worth it! The food here is fantastic! It's pretty much a four course buffet with appetizers, salads, main course, and desserts which are all prepared way beyond a normal buffet's quality. Hopefully the breakfast buffet would be equally as great considering most of our breakfasts thus far had been a baguette and nutella (which I don't mind, Nutella is DELICIOUS!), but some real food to get us going before white water rafting tomorrow wouldn't be a bad thing at all...
After dinner a bunch of us decide to go down to the indoor pool area. When we get down there we realize the spa does not mean just an indoor pool, but an entire spa with relaxing hot stone chairs next to an indoor babbling brook, multiple steam saunas where you could choose the scent to be in the air, foot baths, and three different temperatured dry heat saunas (one was 90 degrees celsius!). This is the way to spend a relaxing evening! No wonder this place is one of the top winter resorts in Europe!
