Natadola beach is a great day trip from the Beach House Resort. We hitch hiked to Sigatoka Town, and took a cab the rest of the way (and all the way back, which wasn't too expensive). We stopped at a local resort for beers and mostly swam in the waves of the Pacific (there is a reef by the Beach House, so you have to hike out pretty far to get waves there).
Although this beach was very pretty, it's probably better to spend time, especially if it's limited, closer to the Beach House, or on the other islands themselves.
