again waking up in our tents - but at least we could dress in the
bathroom and not in the tent. eating like every morning bread and dulce
de leche for breakfast and at the meantime trying to catch a ride from
puerto trankilo to cerro castillo. like i told you before 5 people is
almost impossible to ride together so this time we spilt again to neta,
daniel and yoav that took the first ride and went directly to cerro
castillo. tom and i left behind waited for ride, hoping for anyride to
anyplace - after meeting people on the other way (north to south) stuck
there for 2 days.... so when a car got stuck next to us tom helped so
we can catch a ride with them to anywhere. that was a big mistake!!!!
the ride took us 14 km north and that was it. it was the most buetiful
place i saw, a farmers house on the shore of the lake, with huge green
mountains above and blue green water in front that just called you to
go swimming - espaciely on a hot sunny day like the one we got
there.... so i'm sitting in front the most buetiful place trying to
remind myself that it's all real, that this is where i am, i'm not
sleeping and this is not a movie - and i'm sitting there for 8 hours
cars passing all the time and none stoping, i see other people that
waited after us for a ride passing us. but i can't be mad - after all
this is he most buetiful place i have ever been and even if i sleep
here, what do i care waking up on the shore of that lake. i see the
farmer going on his horse and coming back with all his cows, just
rounding them up and how can i bee mad seeing such a thing - it was all
so amaizing!!! it's still hard to belive i was there... but i was from
11:00. around 18:30 we already lost hope and just waited till 20:00
hoping but not beliving we will catch a ride today to our destenation,
we wont see our friends, and who knows when we'll meet them again. but
like i said before lady luck was there for us - at 19:30 a truck
stopped - with 4 chilians hitchikers in the back and the driver which
was our angle for taking us all the way to cerro castillo.
i couldn't belive that someone stopped for the first half hour of the ride all i could do was smile the biggest smile ever, i was so happy - my hidden wish came true - i still have a chance to meet our friends again.... at 22:00 we reched cerro castillo full of dust looking like our grandparents with all white hair, and there is no one around - how the hell will we find them? well we decided to ask where the camping site is and if the're not there we'll look for them in the morning - while we went asking where we can camp the chilians went buying snacks for the road, so before we moved on we came back to say thank you again and goodbye and those sweet guys gave us a bag of chitos so we'll have something to eat (by the way all we ate till that poins was 4 bread slices and some cornflakes...). on we go looking for a camping site that we were tols was about 700 meters away, after 100 meteres a car stops and a women asks if we are heading to the camping - so we got another ride - after 2 min she stops outside a house and from that house we see neta and the guys jumping out asking how did we get there - at that moment we realized there are lots of camping sites around and with the help of our good friend lady luck we arrived at the right place and at the right time: the guys just made dinner!!! so after a long long day we sat down ate our dinner, took a long hot bath and went to sleep in a good bed. the next morning we all woke up and jumped on horses to go up and see the lagona at cerro castillo. so 8 hours on horses - what the hell were we thinking? you think it's easy - the horse will do everything and you can just sit back and relax - well no! you have tp look around allways to make sure the horse is on the right track and not going to eat or something, and more importent you have to remember the horse dosn't car that you're on his back - that i learned the hard way: after sitting so good on the horse, and getting one that goes on the right track i was happy and all i did was look at the view around me and enjoy it untill i turned my head back to the road - but it was to late, i saw the branch coming toward my neck tried to stop the horse and fell off... it didn't hurt to much except my ego.... at the end of the day i found my self all black and blue from 3 times of falling off - my sit allways went side ways and the strap just opened - so the sit fell off with me! so that's about that for horseriding - at least i was the only one that had nothing else but blacks and blues, the rest had pain all over there body for the next 2 days....

and after all that again we found ourself at 18:00 trying to find a ride to next city Coyhaique just 2 hours away. after 15 min tom and i found a ride, and that left neta and the guys there. so will we meet again? that's a story for the next entry....
