We walked to the train station in Milan and hoped to get a train to Verona - we did thankfully. When we arrived Meagan had to use the toilet and 70 cents later (thats euro cents!) we made our way to our accommodation. It was a B & B on the 2nd floor of a building and by luck we actually found the place (It was excellent by the way).
We then wandered into town and were greeted by a wonderful arena and piazza. We went into the arena but were a little disappointed by the lack of information about the place but it was amazing all the same. We then walked to the home of Juliet and watch heaps of people touching the left breast of the statue of Juliet (It brings a new love apparentley). Meagan desperately wanted to touch it but David wouldnt let her. We then just wandered through the town. It is a beautiful town with stunning narrow streets and that Italian feel that we hoped to get (surprisingly in Italy).
We went out again (with increased confidence) and had some nice pizza and pasta (We dont know how the Italians stay healthy with this food) and I think Meagan convinced David to squeeze some gelati in there somewhere.
