to get to the Dinosaur quarry you must pay to get into the park. Then you drive up to a parking lot that has a building you can wait in for the shuttle that takes you up the mounain. For the more serious hikers you can walk it.
the shuttle drops you off in front of a building that has been built around a wall of rock that contains exposed dinosaur bones.
You can go in and look at it up close there are quite a lot of them. A ranger gives a talk about how the wall was formed and explains things that they are doing.
Kids should really like this. Especially when they pass a dinosaur bone around for you to hold and look at.
