Arrived at 9am this morning after travelling from 9pm last night - so pretty tired - although the buses are really comfortable and you get a snack and drink in the evening and biscuits and coffee in the morning.  The chairs recline and you have a  pillow and blanket to keep you warm.  They usually put on a video with subtitles and turn the sound up for the tourists ( The Green Mile was on - not bad, but I've seen it before).  Had a rest this afternoon and will have a better look around tomorrow as everything is so quiet on a Sunday here.

First impressions were 'ugh where have you told me to visit Pete!!!'  The town near the harbour is full of stray dogs and dog mess!!!  We couldn't find anything nice, then we found an ascensor!!!   What a difference there are some beautiful, colourful houses and it's so refreshing.  Unfortunately it was a Monday and the museums etc were all closed for the day, so didn't have much luck there.  would have ben nice to spend some more time there but the flight to Lima calls.
