What I planned:
We planned to leave from Mankato, MN no later than June 28, 2007 for Sanford, NC. The trip should take about 3-4 days, driving slowly and stopping at any 'historic, artsy/crafty places' we wanted to. It's my neice's, M's, first EVER road trip. I am sure that she packed everything she owned. Why? She will only be gone for 3 weeks and she will be at her grandmother's house. Is she planning to not return? There's more to this story; but too much to tell here.
I wanted to cover as many states as we could during this road trip. This was also to M's inaugral driving experience. She is 15 1/2 years of age and she was to take her driver's permit test at 8:00 a.m. the morning we planned to leave. If she passed, we were to leave at 12:00 noon and she would be behind the driver's wheel off and on throughout this trip.
I don't know whether to laugh, scream, or cry. Think I will cover the bases and do all three.
