hi Dave- NY is totally back to normal (and has been for some time). The WTC area is a construction zone, but that is a very small fraction of manhattan island. Just last month I was in NY for business and took my first trip down to the financial district since 9/11. We did one of those city bus tours which went by the site. They are rebuilding there, but the vast rest of the city is intact. I would day that NYC is definately worth a visit. -Tracy
