Firstly let us say thanks for signing up to our travel blog.
We promise to keep things short and sweet and not bore you with details of our favourite meal or cleanest toilet.
However, we will do our best to find a happy medium of fun, informative and insightful, just to keep all of you who are really interested in what we are doing happy. :)
Ok, the adventure begins on Sunday; Washington DC, then various stops through the US (stay tuned) totalling 5 weeks. Then down to South America (3 months), then money providing (depending on Lisa's spending), New Zealand (3 weeks). For those of you still reading these blogs by then you will be awarded 'True Friend' status - however, i'm imagining it will just the family clinging on by then... if that!

Excellent guys - am sooooo on the journey with you. Loving your blog already and you only just left! Hi there, from a sunny UK still. Think i've logged here ok. Sounds like you've got off to a good start. 5 weeks is a long time in the US. If you get to the Grand Canyon send some pics. This is in my top 5 places to see. Brian
