I'm leaving in 4 days for my semester abroad in Brighton, England at the University of Sussex. I have to say that I am terrified, anxious, and uncertain about what to expect. Despite the fact that I have been to Brighton on more than one occasion and I have family there, I still feel as if I am walking into unknown territory. I just need to get through the first two weeks there, and then, I know that I will be fine. Once I know how to get around the city and have been to my classes, I can then begin to relax.
So, here's the plan for travelling:
January 3rd-- 7:30am flight to Chicago from Detroit, flight from Chicago to London arriving at 10:30pm British time.
January 4th-- Leave around 8am on a train to Brighton from London. Arrive around 9am. Get settled in at my new place!
January 5-7th-- Orientation for International Students!
January 8-March 16th-- Spring semester
March 17-April 17th-- Break, Exams, Travelling
April 18-June 22nd-- Summer Semester
June 23-June 28th-- Travelling with family!!
June 29th-- Home! :)
Please feel free to leave comments, suggestions, etc. on what you all want to read about in my entries while I'm abroad. Safe travels! :)
