After spending the bulk of my childhood in "the snowiest large city in the world," I was eager to experience other (less icy) destinations. My travel style so far has been to return to my favorite areas of the world over and over again, seeking to really experience a place (and visit the friends I made on previous trips). I primarily travel by myself and seem to fall into some unusual situations, sometimes slightly on the disastrous side, but always an adventure! Being an Editor at RealTravel prompts me to reflect on these experiences, but also provides endless, daily inspiration to forge new explorations.
