Castle Peak Wilderness is a great place to snowshoe, ski and snowboard. In the winter, bring lots of water and food. Carry the right equiptment and go with someone who is trained in avalanche saftey.

I saw a for sale sign, so I don't know if this place will be shared and free for long.
