So off Charlie and i went to go snowboarding in Whakapapa, when we got there i was suprised to see no snow, as i was thinking it would be liking boarding in the Alps but how wrong was i. After checking in to our hostel and meeting our room mates for the next couple of days we soon realised how boring some places are and this was one of them. Luckily one of the irish lads had a basketball with them so we played 3on3 for hrs and then passed out. The next day we got a lift down to the mountains and saw lots of snow, had our lesson and headed for the nursery slopes, after falling over lots and the weather changing every 10secs, we decided to call it a day and went back to the hostel where we were so bored we started to make games up, first we had dancing, then wrestling and then came the drinking games, well the irish lads(i caught a cold so i felt like poo). The irish lads were hilarious. In the end they passed out and us girls decided to have our own fun and drew on their faces with marker pen!! There faces in the morning was a picture. After a wicked day boarding, the next day was shocking with gale forced winds and ice we decided to head back to Auckland as the weather wasn't improving and we were going crazy with boredom. Our next trip will be to Rotoura.
