Worth the $10 as the hotel is nice, clean and has a swimming pool. It's also very near the park and so you dont have to stay in Flores, and travel into the park in the morning, at some obscene hour.

Are you saying a room at Tikal Inn cost $10? I've seen quotes closer to $100.
