Feels like the Oregon coast

Left Pearisburg this morning. It was wonderful spending some time with other hikers. We played a 3 hour game of gin rummy last night. This morning it is foggy and fairly cool. It feels like Oregon. I could be on an Oregon coast trail in the summer. It’s 68 and a little humid and I’m wandering through rhodies as far as the eye can see. “Feels like I’m all the way back where I belong.”(randy newman)
