hi ryan, thanks for your comments. It's hard to say how much of a budget you would need. We haven't worked at all the entire time we've travelled so that is a factor. Australia by far was the most expensive part of our trip. It's a party place so you spend alot that way. If you cut back on the drinking i.e. your not Irish :o) then your money will go alot further. A rough guide would be US$15-20,000 (for the year) with your money lasting longer in Asia & S.America. :o)

Your trip is a great inspiration, and I'm not Irish, but I drink like one! Going to New York for St. Pattys day to drink with some real Irish. So Ya!
