Wow, after 5 months, i'm finally off on my own! Was very sad saying bye to all my new friends in Melbourne and especially Rach. But now it's the start of the next stage!

Stayed in a nice hostel in the city and spent the 1st couple of days seeing the sights. It really is breathtaking when you see the harbour bridge and opera house for the first time, i kept going back for another look! Caught up with Joe and his girlfriend (Marriott bod) on the firday night as they were here for a mates wedding. That was really cool, but weird seeing him half way across the world!

The best bit about the week was Sydney Mardi Gras! It was sooooo pink and sooo camp but soooooooooooooo much fun!! Saw Rupert Everett and lots of semi naked bronzed men!!

I also spent a day in the blue mountains and saw some amazing scenery, could have stayed in Sydney for weeks....time to move on!
