I got off the bus from Vevcani and took a stroll through the resort town of Struga.  Although obviously not as wealthy as Ohrid, Struga had its charms.  Not the least of which was its stunning river that led to the lake.

The water was unbelievably clear with a strong current so the local children would jump off the bridges and let it carry them to the end of the river.

I checked out the waterfront which was composed of a couple rocky beaches, all crowded.  There were several 1970s era hotels, reminiscent of the Montengrin coast.  The pedestrian zone in the downtown was appealing, and there were a couple excellent souvenir shops.

My visit to Struga was short lived though, and, although it took me about 45 minutes to figure out how to get back to Ohrid, I jumped on the first available bus.
