Today I was determined to head out Stonehenge.  I've been talking too long about it.  So anyway, I headed out from the apartments at around 11 AM.  I caught the bus to London Waterloo station where I caught the overland train to Salisbury.  The train cost 25.60 GBP for a return trip.  When I got there, the next bus to Stonehenge was to leave in 30 minutes.  So I walked around town and saw a bit of Salisbury downtown.  It was small, quaint, and pretty boring looking.  There were many restaurants that looked tasty but their menus showed VERY EXPENSIVE food.  At least, it seemed expensive because I spent so much already to get there.

I caught the bus from Salisbury station at 2 PM to head out to Stonehenge.  I got there at around 2:30 PM and paid to get into the roped-off area.  It was 6 GBP to get in.  The entrance included an audio guide so I took that as well.  The guide was pretty useless actually.

I really should have looked for the weather in Salisbury rather than basing it off of the weather in London.  But luckily it was a really nice day.  The area that the Stonehenge was in was quite windy so I was kind of cold with my jacket. 

Really, the audio guide just kept me from walking around the stone formation quicker.  I snapped a ton of shots from many angles. 

So overall for the trip, I spent roughly 36 GBP to get to and from Stonehenge.  I wouldn't really recommend it to people's top 10 list of things to do...but I'm still glad that I did it.  It seems like one of those things that you HAVE to do.  Kinda like...I would say people should go to Disneyland while in Los Angeles...

I'm still feeling a little sick but I expect to be much better by the end of the weekend.  Anyway, tomorrow I will be doing research for classes.  Then on Saturday I'm heading out to Blenheim Palace and Oxford with the Butler group.  So talk to you all later!
