Today I set out running to find the Imperial War Museum.  If you look at Google Earth you'll see that it's really no too far from where I'm staying on Great Dover Street.  However, it took 4-5 miles to get there and a ton of backtracking.  I finally reached my destination after some light rains.  I went inside just to have a quick look.  I didn't bring my camera so I figured I'd go back some other time.  My initial impressions were that it was suited for younger children.  They had a lot of artifacts on display including planes, cannons, tanks, bombs, one-man submarines, etc.  But I just didn't find it nearly as interesting as the British Musuem.  I spent about 20 minutes there and decided to head back.  This time I asked for a map from the help desk and for directions.  I made it back within 10-15 minutes of jogging.  Later that day, some friends from Butler and I went to Elephant & Castle to look for a local gym where we might enroll.  We arrived to the location and found a very run down face, almost like it had been deserted on account of an upcoming air raid.  We encircled the building and eventually found a small entrance to the reception desk.  It's 27 pounds a month.  We had a look at their facilities and it was very unimpressive.  We headed on back but ran into a small shopping center so I stopped off and bought sandwich makings, some milk, and a 12" pizza that cost 0.50 pence.  The pizza was...okay.  The sandwiches I've been making are not so tastey.

Later that night, Yvette and I crossed London bridge in search of a pub.  The city area is very dense but it was mostly a business district so we walked pretty far until we found O'neills.  It was a nice place.  We stopped off, had a drink, and then headed back towards the southbank of the Thames.  We headed back home, and thus ended my day.  No pictures I'm afraid
