We have now ventured through northern India and find ourselves enjoying the beauty of Kathmandu, Nepal. The journey here by bus was long (15 hours), hot (no ac) and very crowded. But we made it safely through Maoist country and the flat we are staying at is very nice, thanks to Leah's friend who know a guy, that knew a guy and so forth. We have delivered the medical supplies to the Leprosy Clinic and have set up a daily schedule with Dr. Pradhan for the next few weeks. I will specifically be working with the physiotherapist, he is a very small, yet lively Nepali man who is sure to teach me a lot and allow me to get me hands dirty...I cannot wait.
I'm sure I will have more pictures and words in the next few days - once I have a chance to process everything and time to try and articulate it all.
