It's incredible how long I've been away, growing up in Western culture with only the faintest memories of Vietnam from a brief childhood until the tender age of four.  Wow, this is it!  I'm finally coming home. 

I anticipate it will be a very strange feeling to see my old house again.  I cannot wait to see  how it looks compared to the sparse  glimpses from my past that I've retained all these years.  If I'm lucky I might re-connect with some long lost memories.  Before I do this, I must find the house.  This may be a real challenge as I have no address! Surprisingly, even my mom can't remember the address.  The town of Can Tho is not that big supposedly so I'm hoping it won't be too tough if I can manage to walk down every street.  The few internet and guidebook maps I've found look sketchy at best.
