Day One

People On Trip:

               My Dad, Brian

               My Stepmom: Suzanne

               My brothers: Jeremy, Dan and Eric

               Eric's friend Ryan.

          My Dad and brother Dan both came down on Saturday, August 5th and stayed until Monday August 7th.  Dan had to go back to work as did my Dad.  Thursday, August 10th my Dad came back to Hermit Island until the day we left Saturday, August 12th. 

DAY ONE:

               We left my Dad and stepmom's house and headed towards Auburn, Maine...my brother Jeremy had to stop at K-Mart to pick up a lanturn he had purchased the night before and they had forgotten to put in his bag.  My Dad and stepmom went to Home Depot to pick up some odd and ends they needed for the campsite. 

                   Next stop was the Burger King on Lisbon Street in Lewiston, Maine...I think the women in the drive thru window wanted to kill us because the five of us in my brother's Camry all made separate orders...we all said sorry many, many times afterwards. 

                     Next stop, Hermit Island...sign in at 2pm and not before.  We had to campsite's right next to each other on a private road.  We set up all of the tents and got everything in order.
