“SUN, SAND AND TAPAS!” |
Greetings from Sitges Spain. A Catalonian coastal resort town on the Mediterranean. The sea and mountains combine to create this geographically charming setting.
Sitges boasts as the town after Barcelona with the most 4 star hotels. Of course we are not enjoying such! Unless you add up the stars cumulatively after 3 days here! LOL
Once known as the Golden Shore, it boasts 17 beaches over 4 kilometers, (about 2.5 miles). It certainly comes alive after dark. Be prepared to eat dinner at one of the narrow street lined outside cafes between 11 and 12 pm, or you eat alone!
It was a very relaxing 3 days here without an itinerary or schedule like the hectic sight seeing of Barcelona. Tomorrow we leave for the island of Menorca.
