Our two months in South East Asia have begun!!!
Like London, Singapore has a Duck Tour! It was brilliant and we got to see such a lot of the city: the old and new supreme courts, Singapore’s version of the Sydney Opera House (which has over 7,000 roof spikes to deflect heat!), the construction site of what will be the world’s largest Ferris wheel, the Marina Bay complete with its Merlion statues. We then went to Singapore’s electronics shopping mall – Dean was in heaven!! Last, but not least, we strolled through the city’s Little India district which is gorgeous. We browsed through lots of little shops and saw the beautiful Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple.
