We made it finally to Singapore. The longest 24 hours of my life on the plane, it seemed never ending. We saw our first sunrise already looking out the plane window, very beautiful. Our trip to Hong Kong was full of adventure. It entailed is getting of the plane, walking around the terminal, checking back into security and boarding the plane again. A whole 30 mins, but we got a picture of a Hong Kong sign so we can say we have been there.
So with next to very little sleep on the plane and all these little kids jumping up and down right beside us and getting hit in the elbow everytime someone had to go to the bathroom we made it. Got through customs, and even made our way onto the MRT. This MRT is like that of no other. Totally clean, you could eat off the floor. Puts the one in Edmonton to shame. We got off at our stop and of course we got lost by a block. If it wasn't for this very nice guy who looked at us and knew right away we were lost walked us to our hostel. The hostel is awesome, we have our own room with air conditioning. Life saver, it is so hot and humid here you need it. Huge culture shock is that you have to take your shoes off when you walk into buildings. If it wasn't for Erin reminding I would never do it. We are going on a night safari tonight to see animals and meet other travellers, then hopefully we can get a good night sleep. Miss you all and will have more later

Hey guys, Glad you made it safe and sound. Know exactly what it feels like to get lost in a foreign country. It happens to me everyday. I have Jackie, she is like a walking compass. Can't wait to see Singapore, do as much as you can and fill me in on what I need to see and do. Miss you lots already and can't wait to follow your stories as you go along.
