@ Day 2 Still in Siem Reap 19 January 2007

---------------------@-- -------------------------

Today after Breakfast Aren the taxi driver (B:20) pick up us to went very Early to the Angkor Wat Temple(www.angkorwat.org/) …very fresh and not yet hot very good indeed Man!

This Temple is very Amazing most of it is still under restoration (It will take many years to finish This Temple!) the way to climb up the temple with the stones step is uncomfortable there is not even enough room for your feet to step on . We (Sabar & Me) managed to reach Top of the Temple and the panorama from above there is very Beautiful… this is one of the Seven Wonders this earth still have for us .The civilization at that time had very clever architects and builders with the foundation of Religion … Temple Angkor Wat… Man! (Like The Candi Borobudur(www.borobudurpark.com /borobudur.php)) …don’t you all think so?!)

We take a rest at the Angkor Café at the parking space at the opposite of Angkor Wat (chain of Blue Pumpkin!) We finish our drink and start The Angkor Grand Circuit Tour:

Before entering South Gate of AngkorThom

- Baksei chamkrong

- Prasat Bei

- Thma Bay Kaek

And we enter the South Gate to the Angkor Thom(en.wikipedia.org/wiki /Angkor_Thom) to see:

- Prasat Bayon

But after that we can’t see the Baphoun, Phimeanakas, Royal Palace, terrace of The Leper King, Preah Palley and Top Pranam today, because they are having groups of VIP Guest delegations from China etc and Our taxi has been diverted to the Victory Gate… anyway we still could see the opposite of Terrace of the Elephant were:

- Prasat Suor Prat

- Wat Tang Tok

- North Kleang

- Preah Pithu Group

Outside East Gate (Victory Gate)there are (Well over here we(Me & Mom!) are not make a stop at the entire prasat…but only taking picture from near the street we stop and see it (but Sabar almost all the entire prasat that we saw he made it!):

- Prasat Thommanom

- Prasat Chau Say Thevoda

- Prasat Spean Thma

- Chapel of the Hospital

- Prasat Ta Nei

- Preah Khan

- Prasat Prei

- Prasat Tonle Sngout

Then we enter North Gates of Angkor Thom.

The driver then drove us through the West Gate to see the West Baray only but we did not made it to see the entire Prasat around there!( It was not in the deal we made with the driver!) anyway we were tired from all the walking…!

(Note : Man… if you want to enjoy your holiday to see this entire better take more that 3 day! and work out physically (running or walking!) you will need it!).

We end today program and went to FCC Angkor for late Lunch (Local Khmer food! This is a fancy place Man!) but my mother felt sick (well with all the walked …my leg muscle ache also!) so we went back to the Star Hotel (and again the driver almost left us because for him FCC is near our hotel so he want us to just walk back to hotel!... this Man really has no manners! Our deal was until 17.00 and we arrive there at 15.00 something! ...so you must draw a line with them Man! just like a real Javanese lower level society!<I’m guessing that his ancestor come from around here/Java> well myself 1/3 of family bloodline also Javanese (so I know what I’m talking about Man!)They always were testing you as a human to the limit of humankind… no kidding Man!)…Enough is enough no more deal with him (MP?!) tomorrow!

(Note : Old Market Area (see Map http://www .canbypublications.com /maps/somrmapmain.htm)

At 20.00 nights went to the Soup Dragon Restaurant at the Pub St just us (Me & Mom) (Because Sabar went to down town alone!) (Moreover, I am having a Khmer food again… well when in Rome…do like the Romans!)

Actually, (this was funny!) because he just nearby (next street!) the Old market not so far from us (Having dinner also!) and afterwards we went to The Blue Pumpkin Bakery (but we do not buy anything! In addition, same thing happen with Sabar! (So do not bother to check out any food with a full stomach, Man!). Sabar just walked back but we took a Tuk2 back to Hotel and we met in the room within 5 minutes only!

(BTW : Bolded Prasat/temple it's we saw it from far/next to it but the want with underline we explored it...(well excepted for Sabar...He did explored all the Bolded and the underline prasat...!))
