Woke up early, had breakfast and waited at the lobby for the Moose bus. The moose bus (www.moosenetwork.com) is a jump-on, jump-off tour bus service for backpackers like me. The bus driver is our tour guide as well.
I was the first passenger that day! I took a picture of our bus while waiting for the other girl to come out. Our bus driver Liam, continued to drive into downtown Vancouver picking up passsengers in 3-4 other hostels and about 12 or so people jumped on the bus. We went to Westminister, the office of moose bus, to facilitate payment for those who haven't paid and also to give us a brief introduction of what to expect on this tour. Liam drove for hours on the Trans Canada highway, one of the longest highaway (in Canada?) Our first stop was Bridal Falls. Why do they call it Bridal falls? I guess it looks like a bride's wedding veil.
During the long ride to Shuswap lake, we made stops at the grocery for our lunch. Had ice cream at Horstings farm market, passed by Cache creek and took pictures of a lake (forgot the name). Funny thing is I didn't even get to see Shuswap lake. The lake was about 15 mins walk from our hostel but since we got to the hostel around 7pm, it was too dark to see anything anyway. I didn't dare go anywhere outside the hostel except for the bar/resturant beside it where our group had dinner. I retired early and had a goodnight's rest.
