When one student gets sick...everyone gets sick!

Earlier this week a lot of students were sick and Megan and I had managed to avoid it until now. I slept maybe half the night and my throat hurts...Señora Julia (our house mom) says it´s because I don´t wear a jacket in the morning (when it´s 95 degrees).

The weather here has been perfect...I mean unbelievable! It´s not too hot but it´s nice. A few mornings have been cloudy but it clears up pretty quickly.

We have to be at the bus station at 7am mañana to go to Seville and Cordoba. (Where it is the absolute hottest in the whole country). My travel book says NOT to travel to Seville during the summer because it is miserably hot...perfect.

But the weather has been good to us so far so I can´t complain! Mis clases me fustra. (my classes frustrate me). Grades here don´t matter like they do in the US and there is zero organization....it´s just sort of a free for all. But it could absolutely be worse...and yes Dad I was studying yesterday...and maybe having some helado too??? (ice cream)...haha.

It´s been pretty normal the last couple of days...I feel like I live here. There is this little store on the corner between our house and the Aqueduct and we go in there to buy water or soda sometimes. And he chats with us a little.

People ask us for directions (I don´t know if I wrote that already or not). Apparently we look like we know what we´re doing. But it really is a neat place to be...and the best part is that we are actually staying here. Most of the time when you travel through Europe...it´s a couple days here and a couple days there so you never get a feel of a place. And it has taken almost 2 weeks here to get into a groove here.

And of course I look forward to traveling during the weekends too. We book a flight to Lisbon, Portugual for July 20. That should be awesome, we´re really excited about that!

Well that is all for now...I am going to go get some naranja and airborne!
