So I know that some of you have been a little concerned about Megan and I...and yes it is serious...but don´t worry we found a dulceria! (candy shop). So yes we will be able to restock...I know, I know, you can all rest easy now!
As for the food here, it is amazing...I think we live with the best cook in Segovia because everytime we meet someone and they ask us who we are living with, the first thing they say is oooh such a good cook! And it´s true (except for bean soup). BUT last night we had chicken nuggets (that´s the closest thing I can think of to compare it to...and they pretty much are). Dinner here are tapas...kinda like a variety of appetizers. So last night she made us homemade potatoes (kinda french fries)...calamari (the best ever!) and chicken nuggets. They were so good that we turned to her and I told her I loved them and Megan looked here in the eye and said in Spanish ¨these are the best chicken nuggets in the whole world¨ Hahah! Seriously though they were homemade and heavenly!!!
The pig leg is gone...which means we ate it all!Yeah and we figured out that we did have suckling pig...but she didn´t serve it with the whole body because she knows we don´t do it like that in the US. She has had students in her home for 30 years so she´s pretty much awesome.
A couple of days ago she came into our room with our laundry...she does it every single day! Seriously everyday!!!! It is unbelievable!!!! We go to school and get home and all our laundry is clean´! Anyway last week she came in with our clothes and then she started rambling on really fast and shaking her head and she looked like she was going to cry and she said (all in spanish) that something bad happened to one of the camisetas (shirts). It was my shirt and it was a pink shirt ...and she said that she used this new stain remover and two shirts were ¨ruined¨mine and her daughter´s. She kept saying amarillo, amarillo....yellow? I figured it would just have dark stains on it or something...but she said it was yellow...so I´m expecting the shirt just to be stained funny and that I would throw it away...but she brings it in and it is all yellow...no stains no splotches...completely yellow...except for the pink thread. Megan and I were laughing so hard we couldn´t breathe. But she was so concerned and she wanted us to go the store and get a new one. I of course told her it wasn´t neccesary and that I liked yellow...It is literally like I have a new shirt...it was so funny but she was just so upset about it...
That´s about all for now...it´s funny how comfortable we are here...it just feels like we live here. And time doesn´t reallly exist in Spain. Days are longer but go by faster...they are more relaxed. But if a Spaniard says it starts at 9 it means around 9 we will start setting up and thinking about startin...and then around 9:30 it will actually start!!! But if you go on a bus or train when they say 9 they mean pulling away at 9!
Anyway hope all is well back home! I miss you all...Thanks for reading my blog...much love!

How is the Paella? I want to know what kind of rice, what meats, how the meats were seasoned and other good stuff. A recipe would be helpful!
