Leavenworth - Seattle

Between Walla Walla and Leavenworth

From Walla Walla, I drove to Leavenworth which is on the way to Seattle. Leavenworth is a Bavarian style village with lots of German-alike things to see. I had a Bratwurst, which was very nice! East Washington looks quite dry and the 'Evergreen State' shows its color only when you come closer to Seattle.

Von Walla Walla bin ich nach Leavenworth gefahren, welches auf dem Weg nach Seattle liegt. Leavenworth ist ein Staedtchen gebaut im Bayrischen Stil, es hat viele Deutschstaemmige Sachen zu sehen. Natuerlich musste ich eine Bratwurst essen, welche vorzueglich war! Washington ist im Osten relative oede und trocken und wird seinem Namen 'Evergreen State' erst in Richtung Seattle gerecht.
