Rush hour Savanaket

After a non eventful border crossing and a few hours more on a bus I checked into a hotel room with air con and ensuite. A quick shower later I lay down on the bed at two in the afternoon and slept like a baby until evening. After dinner and a few beer Laos I slept again for the night then woke up to explore Savanaket. There turns out to be nothing to do there and I mean really nothing so I got a night bus to Vientiane and spent a very relaxing and enjoyable day cycling round the quiet capital visiting their many temples.
