We were concerned when we were the only people in this restaurant but the Lonely Planet had recommended it so we though that we would give it a try. And we are very glad that we did.
We ordered a collection of dishes between us which I think is the way to go because they aren't enormous and you get to try a little bit of everything. They have a vast menu of Vietnamese food all of which seemed pretty good. The service was quick, with the spring rolls arriving minutes after we had ordered them. You could see into the kitchen from the restaurant and it was clean and the cooking practices hygienic. We had 5 or 6 dishes plus rice plus drinks for less than AU$10 and left feeling very full. The food wasn't greasy and there were plenty of non-spicy dishese for those who want to go chilli free. There was also a good range of vegetarian food.
I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to people travelling to Sapa and wanting to try some real Vietnamese food.
