Tent Rocks is a well kept secret of things to do around Santa Fe. It is a national forest which involves an approximate 2 mile hike. It is an easy hike which takes you around, through and into the prettiest land formations I've ever seen. It's name "Tent Rocks" is rightly earned. The multi-colored earthtoned limestone layers are in tent like shapes. It is hard to describe wit h words, it must be experienced first hand. The location is a 25 minute drive south of Santa Fe on your way to Albuquerque with the exit off to "Cochiti Pueblo". Follow the signs- it is well marked after exiting I-25.
