mmmm the best pizza in south america.	Me in a train- why wont this darn thing start?	Train cemetery.	Salt anyone?
Our group in front of the jeep with driver-cook-guide.	A Building made of salt.	Huge cacti, 500 years old.	Island on the salt flats with giant cacti.
Budding cactus.	Fun on the flats with some trick photos	Folded salt	Donkeys wondering what the hell we are doing way up there.
Is this supposed to be the cave? No mummies though.	Awesome view of the flats.	Sunset.	The hostel that we stayed at, tables, walls, beds, floor all made of salt.
There was another jeep that kept breaking down and since the driver was our drivers brother in law, ...	Strange rocks	Burial rocks at the necropolis.	Sit and wait for the broken down jeep again.
Llamas and vicuas all over- what the hell do they eat???	An old building makes an excellent bathroom...	The bleakness	Lava makes sureal shapes when exposed to ancient water torrents and strong sandy wind
On the lava at 4500 meters, whew feel the altitude.	ET head of lava	Us all nice and snug in the jeep.	Flamingo lake.

Dress warm because it is DAMN cold (well, maybe not as cold as MN)	Are we on mars? I am serious- no air, cold, windy, irradiating sun, red, rocky, no life.	Hot springs are great at 6am.	Painted mountains, beautiful.
Different planet	Fun in the desert	Green lake- the wind was not blowing in this picture... but I am serious, it did turn green...	Rodger climbs yet another pole.
Me and my sand board, and it is hot and so dry. And what is this? Proof I do get on a bike once in ...	At the bottom of the hill is the worst place to be- so hard to get back up!	I look like a pro?	Getting up some good speed
