Our arrival in the big city (no not NY) was way smoother then expected. We ended up bumping into our friends from Boquette on the bus from Cahuita to San Jose and decided to check in to their hotel with them. We found out about a vegetarian resturaunt and decided to check it out (hoping we would find some more options than our usual rice and beans..). Sure enough it was pretty sweet - sort of like a fast-food resturaunt vegitarian style. It took us a  moment to adjust to choosing something from a whole menu and not one line - but we succeeded -  until we did the unthinkable.. Our meals came with a water based drink, and since we were not drinking the tap water thought we could add money and switch the drink to something else - NO WAY - the waitress could not believe such a crazy and unheard of thought and hurried to bring us the water based drink - oh well we tried.

Our next San Jose endeaver was to see a movie - we chose "The Davinchi Code" - things started great - till the actors started speaking french and latin - the only subtitles were in spanish - and since Sarit had not read the book - and Gilad could not remember the specifics, much of the movie was lost on us. We went to sleep our last night in Costa Rica in the big city - adjusting to the lack of monkeys and the big city sounds...

The morning of our departure... Sarit was considering continuing the Landau tradition of using every moment to its fullest and getting a manicure an hour before the taxi was scheduled to pick us up for the flight.. It was a tough decision - because after all it was a bargain - but in the end she decided to play things the slow, boring, organized way - and leave the only activity before going on the plane to be eating a nice, relaxed breakfast - actually not too shabby.

So this is how our trip ends.... It was good times and we hope as we continue on to Peru and Equador we can add many good memories to our travel blog (I think we will call him "trog" from now on travel blog is a tad on the long side ; ) ).
