Location location location. The hotel is a landmark in San Francisco. Have one of the staff take you on a tour of the different building that have been built over the years. Some are old and some are new. They say this structure has the oldest building remaining after the earthquake in the early 1900s. If you can afford it, dine at Michael Minna. It's a treat worth the extra cash.
