“The perfect condo” |
Nancy Parinello is the agent for a number of condo owners in her building at 3888 Riviera and also handles rentals for less expensive condos in the area as well as some locations in the Loire Valley in France. Her website is www.nanc ysvacationrentals.com. Joey's condo is the latest on her list of rentals in San Diego and if the others are as superb as this one, we highly recommend them all. The location was perfect, on Sail Bay, a ten minute walk from the ocean. The bay is protected from the waves of the Pacific Ocean by a long sand spit and is so calm that every morning scullers, including a group of young women, practise their racing skills in long shallow racing hulls. We enjoyed watching them as they crossed the bay and we could hear, across the water, the shouts of the coaches as they encouraged the scullers to greater effort. Most nights a Mississippi-type river boat jeweled with lights cruised the dark water and during the day sailboats scrolled across our view as if they had gone out there for our private entertainment. The condo had everything you could want -- a completely up-to-date kitchen, internet access (bring your own laptop), plasma TV, large living room with a wall of windows looking out on Sail Bay, and a balcony where you can have a drink, eat a meal, and enjoy the passing scene. We would love to be there still.
