We have concluded that zoos are for kids and parents with kids. There is no doubt that the animals are well cared for and well presented and I found the varieties of deer especially appealing, for they are drawn from all over the world and there were species here I had never heard of. The bears, leopards, meercats, and flamingoes were worth seeing, in particular. Overall though, the zoo was mildly disappointing, perhaps because it is so widely promoted that our expectations were higher than the reality could have delivered. The price alone seemed to promise more.
