It is always nice to spend some quality time with family before a big trip. Whether we were camping, hiking, working, or just hanging out, we had a great time in SLC. The weather was hot and dry, but very pleasant. The hikes to Mt. Timpanogas and up Red Butte Canyon were beautiful. Waterskiing in Jordanelle and wakeboarding in Lake Powell were fun. Always good times, and Sam even enjoyed spending ALL of his free time helping out dad build his garage! Steph tried helping too, which consequently lead to her needing 4 stitches in her chin a week before our departure!
