Well this morning Charmaine and I got on the Norhern Motorway and made our way up the East Coast. To my surprise there were a lot of Cattle farms. I was just expecting sheep farms. We stopped in a little town called Leigh where we found their warf and stopped there to take a few pictures. Then we took a ferry to Russell... a very historic town which is located in the Bay of Islands (Capt. Cook named). After a long drive Charmaine and I set up our tent and went to bed at 8:50 pm.... boy oh boy aren't we adventurous. In the middle of the night one of our tent poles snapped in half. I think that was the worse sleep in my entire life. Arla... we passed a place called Coopers Bay... I sort of slept through it and missed the photo op.

Hey, thanks for thinking of me today (or Cooper). I just happened to have a few minutes before I meet Cooper for skating and the first article I read has my name in it. Sounds like you're having an adventurous really fun time. I'm very envious. Miss ya and keep writing. I love reading where you've been!!
