I woke up mad early on Saturday and went to the gym. I know you are thinking, You are on vacation! But here is my perspective: If I work out for an hour, I can totally lie around the pool, have lots of drinks, and eat whatever I want for the rest of the day. Which, not to ruin the ending for you, is exactly what happened. After the gym, I met up with Kim and everyone for breakfast, and then we hit the pool. The pool at the hotel was unbelievable. It was impossibly huge. There were 2 different bridges over it, and it had a swim-up bar. Finally, I got to go to a swim-up bar! It was everything I thought it would be. I would prefer if all bars were of the swim-up variety. Anyway, we spent the entire day lying in the sun and floating in the pool. It was truly awesome.

At 3:00, Kim and I decided to go old school, I mean seriously old school, because they were having bingo by the pool. Yes, we are 75 years old. Bingo is seriously a lot more fun when you are drinking for two (I had the responsibility of drinking all the rum punch that Kim would have had). However, it became clear even to my intoxicated mind a few minutes into the game that these bingo cards were not quite right. The numbers were under the wrong letters, and even though bingo only goes up to 75 (it doesn't matter how I know this), Kim's card had a 78 and an 85. We went up to the bingo hut to complain about these unfair bingo practices, and I am not sure how this negotiation went down, but I ended up getting a quick massage from one of the pool guys in the back of the bingo hut. Kim stayed and chaperoned, which I definitely appreciated. Oh, Jamaica.

We met up again for another fantastic dinner. Every meal is really shamefully extravagant here. They have a pasta station where they make whatever you want; a carving station with at least 2 meats every night; and at least 8 buffet tables with even more food. There were also 8-10 different desserts, in addition to ice cream. What I am telling you is that it was awesome. Today made all the crap yesterday totally worthwhile.
